About Organisation

A group of young people were formed into an association and named as Action for Integrated Development (AID) and it was registered as a social service organization formed and registered at Registrar of Societies under 1350 Fasli Act, Registration No; 3823 of 1991.  The AID was registered at Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976 bearing No: 010250088, dated 20-01-2000 and also got the Tax exemption under Section 12 A of Income Tax at office of the Commissioner of Income Tax, Vijayawada with file No; Hqrs. No: I943)/VJA/05-06,, dated 21-02-2006.

We are actively involved in community organisation, community health education, Environment programs, Watershed development, women empowerment, thrift & credit programs, trainings and other welfare of the village and target people.  Organisation involves interventions for poverty alleviation, health, sustainable environment and educational programs.  Having understood that Poverty in an off shoot of ‘unjust economic system’. AID was registered and started in 1991 by young people with social development concept to reach the most needy by different approaches and responsibilities.

Our Mission / Vision

MISSION OF THE ORGANISATION:
AID seeks to liberate people from paralyzing tradition from exploitative situations and from want and deprivation by social mobilization of people to unleash and chanalize their potentials for development that to come from within.

VISION OF THE ORGANISATION:
Capacitise the people for standing on their own feet without depending on others by taking up sustainable developmental programs.

AIM OF THE ORGANISATION:

  •     To socially mobilize people so as to address the issues of isolation and powerlessness.
  •     To facilitate a holistic development process for the poor by empowering them to realize their food,
  •      Health and social security needs by themselves.
  •     To enhances the access of the poor people to various community resources and development
  •     interventions initiated by the government and the civil society.
  •     To strengthen the target people through providing the income generating activities, capacity
  •     buildings, health awareness and practices and reduce the dependence by others in a particular time.

Objective

  •     To conduct social, economical, educational, medical and cultural programs of poor people irrespective of caste, creed and community/religion by promoting socio-economic schemes.
  •     To take up economical program such as diary, piggary, fishery, goat, sheep rearing and other income generating programs for the poor to develop their skills and economical standards.
  •     To conduct various training programs like leadership, skill development and functional and vocational guidance trainings.
  •     To assist and co-operate with the established societies through out the state, which are decided to the maintenance, support, education, relief and welfare of the needy poor.
  •     To help & promote the welfare of women, destitute children, orphans and aged through education and development skills for economic uplift.
  •     To take programs like floods, cyclone and fire relief and rehabilitation programs and collaborates with government and non-government development agencies.
